Sometimes, spiritual warfare isn’t just about resisting attacks from the outside—it’s about driving out the enemy’s influence from the inside. Deliverance prayer is one of the most direct forms of warfare. It confronts darkness head-on and declares that Jesus alone has authority in every part of our lives.
Have you ever felt like something had a grip on you that went beyond simple temptation—like a heaviness or oppression that just wouldn’t let go? That’s where deliverance prayer steps in. It’s not about fear; it’s about freedom.
This is Day 22 of our 31-Day Spiritual Warfare & Prayer Journey. Today we’ll learn how to pray for deliverance and cast out the enemy’s influence.
Mark 16:17– “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues.”
Luke 10:19– “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”
Deliverance is not reserved for a few—it’s part of every believer’s authority in Christ.
Write a short deliverance prayer for yourself, focusing on one area where you’ve felt oppression.
Example:
Say it out loud until you feel peace take hold.
Lord Jesus, I thank You that You came to set captives free. Today I renounce every influence of the enemy in my life. By the authority of Your name, I cast out every spirit of fear, doubt, or heaviness. I command them to leave and never return. Holy Spirit, fill me with Your presence and power, so I can walk in freedom. Amen.
Deliverance is not something to fear—it’s a gift of freedom. When we pray with authority in Jesus’ name, the enemy must flee.
This is Day 22 of 31. Tomorrow we’ll talk about breaking free from addictions through spiritual warfare—because God’s power can shatter even the strongest chains.
